Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is engaged to portray diverse aspects of culture through several exhibitions on various subjects and at different places. In the same series Sangrahayala has organised an exhibition “Abhivyakti” at lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi.
The exhibition ‘Abhivyakti’ with theme "Diversity of the languages of Cultural Expression" has been inaugurated by Padmashri Gulam Mohammad Sheikh renowned painter, author and art critic. The special guests of the inaugural ceremony were famous literary critic and activist Mr. Ganesh N Devy, Chairman of lalit Kala Akademi, KK Chakravarty. Director, IGRMS, SB Ota and Arun Kumar Shrivastav Joint Director, IGRMS, were also present.
In the leadership of Ravi Shrivas, Assistant Curator (Display) of IGRMS organised the exhibition at lalit Kala Akademi where paintings, folk mask and other pieces of art made by tribal artists is in display.
