The problem of water scarcity in Bhopal has become a serious concern and to bring forth the facts to the people, the Aam Aadmi Party Bhopal has started a Jal Aakrosh March throughout the city.
Residents of Kolar suffering from water crisis joined and came in the support of the Aam Admi party campaign.
They said that the Kolar is overflowing with the tanker mafia. Every third day, they have to spend `1,000 for water. AAP wants the government generated water shortage in MP to come in front of people through their Jal Aakrosh March and they will reach out to 85 wards in the city.
AAP alleged that for the past 10 years Shivraj government has been ruling the state and it has deprived the citizens of their rights and encouraged tanker mafia.
There are only 35 Government tankers where as there are 600 private tankers in Kolar area, added AAP. These tankers have been earning `30 lakh per day.
AAP’s state secretary Akshay Hunka said that it is the government’s moral responsibility to make the water available for the people as it is their basic right and government has failed in providing water.
AAP will go from door to door with street plays and dance, for democracy and to try to bring out the true face of the Government and Shivraj Cabinet.
