The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that is striving hard to register its presence on the political arena of Madhya Pradesh left no opportunity to cash on the spy case and made all out efforts to link it to the BJP, Bajrang Dal and VHP a big issue.
A couple of days after tying BJP’s knot with the ISI the AAP Madhya Pradesh again staged demonstration in the state capital on Thursday and organised prayer meeting for wisdom to BJP. The party called religious leaders of all religions including Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Jain and others to perform the prayers.
The all religion prayer meeting was also addressed by the AAP MP convener Alok Agarwal. “The BJP leaders need wisdom as in greed they have started selling important confidential information of the country to enemy Pakistan’s notorious ISI. Hope the prayers for them would get them some wisdom,” Agarwal said.
Meanwhile, in the national capital New Delhi the AAP demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe into alleged infiltration of “ISI agents” into Madhya Pradesh BJP, describing it as a “grave threat” to internal security.
Addressing a press conference, AAP leaders Ashutosh and Kapil Mishra said that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya must come clean on their “links” with one of the accused.
Ashutosh said, “BJP goes around handing out certificates of patriotism. But the arrests have shown that BJP and RSS are the biggest anti-national outfits. Three of the arrested were active members of BJP.”
Mishra, who is a minister in the Delhi Government, took a dig at the ruling party at the Centre saying Army chief Bipin Rawat’s remarks that people who support terrorists in staging attacks would be treated as anti-nationals was “apt for the BJP.”
