When a photographer clicks any picture he tries to take out the extraordinary effect from a usual appearance and I always try to bring that uniqueness in my pictures which people can enjoy watching," says one of the noted photographers of the city, Bhawna Jaiswal.

Hailing from Bhopal, Bhawna Jaiswal is working as a photographer for last 29 years.  Bhawna with her idealistic work and with great imagery has received much appreciation across the country and now she would put up her next exhibition at New Delhi.

Organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi, Bhawna would showcase her creativity before the Delhites under the exhibition 'Soul of India - A Visual Journey.' Interestingly, Bhawna would be the first female photographer from Madhya Pradesh to display her pictures at the ICCR New Delhi.

Bhawna while sharing her excitement in a rendezvous with The Pioneer said, "Of course, I feel really good as I am going to display my photographs at an exhibition at Delhi."

"When I got a call from ICCR I was really excited and now I am more enthusiastic about it," said the photographer while she was travelling to Delhi.

About her photography skills, she said, "I have been working in the field of photography when I was in class 10. I enjoy doing photography as I am able to see the usual things in an unusual way.

" She clicked her first photograph with the second model of SlR camera in the year 1985. She has worked on different themes of photography. Since January 2012 she has exhibited her collection on abstract photography, dusk and dawn and tribal festival of MP.

As she talked about her recent exhibition Soul of India -A Visual Journey, Bhawna said, "In this exhibition I have showcased the culture, tradition, nature and beauty of India.  I have divided my exhibition into four sections so that the spectators could have a close look at the actual India. Where I have displayed pictures of some heritage monuments I have also showcased the pictures of tribes and their traditions. On one hand if the viewer will look at the culture of India it will also experience the beauty of wildlife, as photography is not about following a single scope."

"As I travel very often I focus on objects which are rarely known to people," she added.

She would display 40 photographs which include some of the pictures of her previous exhibitions as well. The exhibition would be put up on May 16 till May 21.
