A 57-year-old security guard was assaulted and robbed of Rs 4000 cash and mobile phone by two miscreants.
The incident was reported in the night on Saturday; the accused were nabbed by Kolar police on Sunday.
The victim Dulichand Uriyar was robbed and assaulted by two of security guard who worked with the victim earlier with the same agency.
After the incident victim approached the police and lodged a complaint stating that he was at work and left the work at around 9.30 pm when the two accused Siraj Khan and Ajay Valmiki arrived and asked details of Manish Rana’s resident which the victim was not aware
but he told the victim that he could take them to the place where Manish works and accompanied them on their bike.On their way, the two tried to snatch mobile phone which the victim resisted after which miscreants took him to a secluded place and hit him with stone, snatched his mobile phone and Rs 4000.
The victim was hit several times and was also hit in his face. The two accused used to work with the victim at Hallmark City colony at Kolar road and was acquainted with them.
Based on the complaint patrolling parties and nearby police stations and check posts were alerted but the miscreants managed to escape. Later police managed to nab the two and recovered robbed cash from their possession. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 394 of the IPC and started further investigation.
