Body of a 9-year-old girl was found under suspicious circumstances near Kaliasot dam under Kamla Nehru Nagar police station area on Wednesday.
According to police, the victim was found dead at Kaliasot dam and multiple injuries were found on the body.The girl went missing on May 5 and a missing complaint in the same regard was lodged with the Kamla Nagar police.
The victim’s father has claimed that the victim was suffering from epilepsy, told the investigating officer.The multiple injuries on the body of the victim and permanent disability of both her legs raises question of how she sustained injuries and reached the spot.
The locals along with Congress party workers staged a protest outside the Kamla Nagar police station and alleged that the police have not taken the investigation seriously and the persons detained on the basis of suspicion were released without being questioned properly.Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have sent the victim’s body for post mortem.
Meanwhile a 40-year-old man died while two others sustained severe injuries when their car rammed into a tree at Raisen road under Bilkharia police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police at around 12.40 am, the victim Dr. Rishidas Soni who was driving the car lost control over the car and rammed the car into a tree.The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where Soni who was driving the car was declared brought dead.The condition of the other victims is reportedly stable.Soni was a resident of Silwani under Raisen district.
The victims were on their way to Bhopal to attend a function.
