The state police headquarters trained 8389 policemen in the year 2020 as compared to an average of 300 policemen training a year while the average cost of training per trainee decreased from Rs 1869 to Rs 100.
While releasing the survey report of the last day training evaluation 2020, DGP Vivek Johri appreciated the meaningful efforts of the training division and said that this new method of training will be continued in future also. DGP lauded on the release of training evaluation 2020. The disaster of the Covid-19 epidemic was transformed into an opportunity by the training division of the Police Headquarters with its innovations.
The training division of PHQ under the guidance of Director General of Police, Vivek Johri over eight thousand three hundred policemen in the year 2020, through the Vertical Interpretation Course for serving policemen, making maximum use of information technology as per the changed circumstances due to Covid-19 epidemic.
From the study of training expenditure by Madhya Pradesh Police Academy in training evaluation-2020, it was found that while in previous years, there was an expenditure of Rs 1869 on one training per policeman, whereas in the year 2020 due to this innovation, training expenditure per policeman is only 100 rupees.
