More than eight persons were injured after burning crackers entered their eyes on 4th and 5th November 2021. They were all injured due to burning crackers on the Deepawali night. After the injury they were brought to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital and treatment facility to effected persons have been made available.
Breakup of injured and treated persons is as follow: On November 4, 2021, eyes of Mukesh (All changed names) and Radheshyam from Bhopal and Vidisha were injured with burning crackers have brought to the hospital. Coincidently, Mukesh was not burning the crackers, one of his neighbour suddenly burst a cracker and it caused serious injury in the eyes of Mukesh. His cornea, Scelera and eye lid was badly injured. Immediate surgeries of Mukesh and Radheyshyam were performed done in the hospital, both the patients are admitted for further medical managements.
Similarly eyes of Bhanpura based Sanjay is injured and the surgeon found blood clotting in his eye. Totaram of Khakhra Distt. Rajgarh, Abhay of Sant Nagar, Simran of Bhopal, Mohan from Kalapipal and Rajubai of Narsinghgarh were also brought for treatment of their eye injuries. On November 6th, 2021 Rohit from Peelukhedi, Rajgarh was also brought with his wounded eyes. He is also under treatment.
