A seven-year-old girl was electrocuted at a farmhouse at Bawadia Kalan under Shahpura police station area on Sunday.
Police said that the incident took place on Sunday when the girl identified as Vaishnavi was playing in a house of the farm house and came into contact of live wires.
She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead and later police were informed regarding the incident.
A police team reached the spot and started investigation. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPC.
During the investigation if it would be found that the death is caused due to negligence a case would be registered against responsible person.
Her father Brijmohan works as a caretaker of the farm house. The family of the deceased used to live at the farm house for the past few months.
Meanwhile, a 36-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at C-Sector Ayodhya Nagar under Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Sunday.
The deceased identified as Rita Kamde was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
During the investigation police have not found any reason behind the suicide and would investigate the reason. The statements of the family members and neighbours are yet to be recorded which could help in the investigation.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
