A seven-year-old girl was electrocuted at Karond Square under Nishatpura police station area on Sunday; the deceased incidentally came into contact of an air cooler and got electrocuted.
The deceased Althiya Khan was electrocuted while playing in her house on Sunday. She got injured after she came into contact with an air cooler and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where she died during the treatment.
According to the police, the deceased came into contact with an air cooler while playing and got electrocuted. Family members told the police that the death was purely incidental as the deceased was playing during which she touched the air cooler.
During the investigation the family members refused for conducting post mortem of the deceased. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her residence in Shahpura Chhawani village under Shahpura police station area on Sunday.
According to the police the deceased Rachna Pawar was found hanging with the ceiling in her house and when she was taken to a nearby hospital she was declared dead.
In the initial investigation police have not found any reason behind the suicide and told that after recording the statements of the family members and neighbors reason behind the suicide could be revealed.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
