The 69th annual Alami Tablighi Ijtema (International Islamic congregation) began this morning with Namaz-e-fajir (Morning Prayer) at Ghasipura on the outskirts of the state capital in the presence of hundreds of Islamic scholars from India and abroad.
like earlier years, lakh of Muslims from cross the world are participating in the congregation considered as the third largest religious gathering of the community in the world after Haj. Earlier on till late night on Friday Jamaats from over 30 countries besides thousands of Jamaats of country reached the Ijtema venue.
Soon after the Fajir prayers Maulana Jamshed Mohammed delivered the first sermon of the 69th edition of the Ijtema. “Allah has kept the success for world and hereafter in Islam. The life of human is of just few days hence he should do preparations for hereafter,” Maulana Jamshed said.
Maulana Jamshed further in very easy and simple way told the gathering that what Islam is and how it should be practiced in normal life. For moving on the path of Islam one’s faith and belief should be strong on it.
Moving on the path of Islam would become easier for those whose faith and belief is strong, he added.
Recalling the life of Sahaba he said that they set example for the Ummah that how to practice Islam in life. Those who would obey the orders of Allah and would lay life as per Islam would in reality be successful, he added.
Amid pin drop silence the only voice that could be heard was that of Maulana Jamshed who further said that the basic difference between the Muslims of now and those at the time of Prophet Mohammed that at the place of trying to resolve their issues on their own they used to leave them on Allah, because they were not worried for the life hereafter at the place of present life.
WE should also think of life hereafter instead of loving the world. Today we are distraught because of our deeds and before the conditions go away from our end we should improve our deeds, he added.
