Eyes of a 65-year-old deceased Hariram Kotwani of Sant Hirdaram Nagar have been donated to Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital by their next of kin. Deceased Hariram Kotwani had already pledged to donate his eyes during his life time. He had abysmal belief in Sant Hirdaram. With this donation, two blind persons could now get the eye-sight.
Trustee of Sewa Sadan lC Janiyani has said that this donation of eyes will encourage others in large. The family of the deceased has put forth example of selfless service to the society. The society will always be obliged to them for this pious cause. Janiyani further informed that as many as 1197 cornea transplantation have yet been performed in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. He expressed gratitude to the family members of the deceased person.
