A 62-year-old woman died after she fell from terrace of her three-story building at Saket Nagar under Bagh Sewania police station area on Friday.
The deceased identified as Shailja Pathak was rushed to a nearby hospital after she fell from terrace while she had gone for some work in the early morning hours where she was declared brought dead. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The police have started further investigation.
The injured was rushed to Kastruba where she was declared dead. In the initial investigation police found that the deceased had gone for performing some ritual and while doing ritual she lost control and fell from the terrace. She sustained head injuries which caused her dead. Police said that if it is found that death was caused due to negligence a case would be registered. Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man was found dead near SBI bank square under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Friday. Police were informed after a man was found in an unconscious state and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Nothing which could establish his identity has been found from the deceased. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The police have started further investigation.
