A 62-year-old man was found hanging from a tree at Bairagarh Chicli under Kolar police station area in the morning on Tuesday. The man mentioned the name of a property developer in the suicide note and held him responsible for the extreme step.
Sensation prevailed in the area after body was found hanging with tree. Police were informed and further investigations were started.
SHO Kolar Anil Vajpayee said that suicide note has been recovered from in which he has claimed that reason behind the suicide Chand Hotwani. The reason of the suicide which connects the name in the suicide note is yet to be identified. The deceased was facing financial issue or he was having some other issue could not be ascertained at the moment and would be revealed in the further investigation.
The deceased was identified as Devkaran Meena (62) of Bairagarh Chicli The deceased was a farmer and recently engaged in a deal of his property which is suspected to be the reason behind the suicide.
After the death it was circulated that the deceased was a party bearer of BJP Kisan Morcha but SHO Vajpayee denied of having any such information and links of the deceased with the BJP.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the autopsy and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
Police have started investigation into the matter.
Locals told that deceased was involved in selling half an acre land and the name mentioned in the suicide was dealing to buy or facilitate selling.
