A 62-year old civil engineer committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in Kanhakunj under Kolar police station area in the wee hours on Sunday.
According to the police EN Shashi was found hanging by his family members and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased used to work as Civil engineer with Bhojpal builders. Police have not found suicide note in the initial investigation and no reason was found in the initial investigation which would be searched claimed the police.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 30-year-old man died after he fell from his house at third floor at Vajpayee Nagar under Shahjehanabad police station area on Sunday.
The deceased Kamal Rathod was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment after he fell from his house at third floor of the building.It was an accident or the deceased was pushed from the third floor would be investigated.
The deceased was drunk or not could not be ascertained and which could be confirmed after receiving the post mortem report said the police.
The deceased used to work as labour and was at home due to non-working day on Sunday. Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
