A 60-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling at Vijay Nagar under Bajaria police station area late night on Saturday.
According to police sources, Bhagwan Das was found hanging at his house after which he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. After the post mortem the body was handed over to the family for performing the last rites.Police have not recovered any suicide note which could provide any reason behind the suicide.
In the initial probe it was found that the victim used to work as a security guard with a private company and after returning from his work on Saturday night he had dinner and went to sleep. On Sunday morning at around 6 am when the victim’s family spotted him hanging he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.Police said that the financial condition of the family was not good and they were not able to meet their ends. It is possible that the victim was frustrated over his financial condition but it is not possible to ascertain the reason of the death.
The family members have not revealed any kind of problem which the victim was facing.Family members and other security guards of the company where the victim used to work would be questioned in the further investigation.
