A six-year-old girl received serious burn injury on Friday after hot dal fell on her at Rantalei village under Angul police limits. She was soon rushed to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital.
The victim Subhalaxmi’s mother Tuni Das was staying at her parental house when a quarrel took place. Tuni’s distantly related brother Danei was quarrelling with his wife over cooking at around 11am. In a fit of rage he brought hot dal to throw on his wife but while doing it the dal fell on Subhalaxmi. Doctors said Subhalaxmi’s condition was stable.
