Jehangirabad police have arrested two persons including a woman for strangulating a 6-year-old boy at Jehangirabad area; accused are members of same family and were dejected over old disputes between families.
Farzaan and his sister Samreen were arrested for killing Fardeen of Jhade area near PTRI. Sensation prevailed in the area after boy went missing and a missing complaint was lodged by family with Jehangirabad police. In the initial investigation, Farzaan was spotted carrying a gunny bag and was main suspect in the case after which he was detained and quizzed and he revealed that he along with his sister strangulated Fardeen to death and hide his body at Samreen's house.
Based on the information in the investigation, police recovered body in a gunny sack. Police said that the accused confessed that they parents of Fardeen uses to have frequent fights with them and would demean them as they were financial weak.
Police have booked the two accused on the charge of murder. SHO Jehangirabad Virendra Chouhan said that the deceased was strangulated with a thin wire as mark on the neck reveals.
The accused and mother of deceased are cousins and family dispute was reason behind the murder, he added.
