The Gandhi Nagar police have nabbed six miscreants including two minor and a woman for sexually assaulting a minor girl in the past two years; accused were nabbed on Saturday after girl revealed ordeal in November.
Elder sister of girl sold her to Sameer at Rs 1500 two years ago by sedating her and to fulfil her needs. The ordeal started two years ago, Sunil raped her and later handed over her to Gaurav Tyagi alias Goldi who kept her at Ashray Homes lodged in shanti Nagar and sexually exploited her. Taking advantage of the situation the owner of the lodge Gulab Singh and his two sons Shubham and Ankit also raped her. Gulab nephew who is minor also raped the accused.
The victim’s mother came to know about the atrocity and with the help of counselling victim revealed the atrocity she faced. On Saturday complaint was lodged with the police.Police registered case under section 376(2)n, 376(3),190, 366A and 370(4) and section 5 of POCSO Act. The nabbed accused are Gaurav Tyagi(25) of Tagore Ward, Gulab Mandloi(55) of Kurana, Shubham Mewada(23), Ankit Mewada(26) and one minor accused and victim’s elder sister. Absconding accused are searched by the police. The complaint was lodged by victim’s parents who were not aware of the act by their elder daughter.
