With the arrest to three persons a total to 6 accused including two women were arrested in gang-rape of a 17-year-old girl at a hotel in MP Nagar in the night on August 19 last month.
The Haryana based girl was trapped by her relative who lives in Ashoka Garden and came to meet from Haryana and with the help to two others she was accompanied to a hotel in MP Nagar and later gang raped by three persons.
Victim lodged complaint against all the accused and based on the complaint her Bhopal based relative who lives in Ahsoka Garden area and aides were arrested and as she was not aware of the accused police conducted search at the hotel and found details of three persons staying on the day of incident and collected evidence to establish their identity.
SHO Ashoka Garden Alok Shrivastava said that after the evidences were investigated the three were identified as Office Secretary Dindori District BJP Manish Nayak, District President JDU Dinesh Awadhiya and Amit Soni who were nabbed from Dindori.
Earlier nabbed three accused Parul, Seema and Saif were sent under judicial custody. Police have started to search for more accused involved in the crime. The angle of human trafficking would also be investigated as details are yet to revealed by the accused arrested, so far.
