Under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, the state government, which is aiming to hoist one crore 51 lakh national flags (tricolour) at every house in Madhya Pradesh, is getting the tricolour made by self-help groups. The government has ordered 5991 groups to make 6074961 tricolours. Out of this, 3050162 tricolours have been prepared so far. 1001766 Tricolour has also been sold. With this, the women of the group are expected to earn an income of Rs. 23499501.
There are 340949 Self-Help Groups in Madhya Pradesh. To which 3908000 women are connected. To make them self-reliant, the government keeps providing work.
Recently, the Government of India has started 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The campaign activities are to be carried out in the state from August 11 to 17. Special attention is to be given for three days from August 13 to 15.
People are being motivated to hoist the tricolour at every house. For this, programmes like cycle rally, bike rally, foot march with the tricolour near the lakes are being organised in the cities and villages of the state. People will be connected by organising programmes near Bhojtal in Bhopal. Educational institutions have also been asked to come forward for the participation of youth.
