A 59-year-old man died after he was hit by a speeding vehicle at VIP road under Koh-e-Fiza police station area on Monday. According to the police an old aged man was hit by a speeding vehicle in the evening and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where he died during treatment.
A police team rushed to the spot and started investigation. The details of the vehicle has been searched which hit the deceased. The deceased was identified as Kurban Khan (59). The deceased was a resident of Kamla Park area.
Koh-e-Fiza police were not able to provide details regarding the deceased and claimed that the investigation has been started. After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man committed suicide at an under construction building at Ratibad area late in the night on Sunday. According to Ratibad police the deceased Raju Bhardwaj alias Rajju was found hanging and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Body was sent for the post-mortem after preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the deceased hailed from the Chindwara and came to city in search for work and used to work as labour. On Sunday he committed suicide but no reason was found behind his suicide. The contractor and the owner of the house would be questioned.
