The ‘Kill Corona’ Campaign is being conducted at accelerated pace in the State. Till date, a total of 56 lakh 81 thousand houses have already been surveyed under the campaign. Population of 2 crore 90 lakh 63 have been covered under the survey. During the survey, 31,584 suspected patients of corona infection were found. Apart from this, 12,063 people suffering from other diseases were found. As many as 983 suspected patients of malaria and 16 patients of dengue were also found in the survey. Proper treatment is being given to all these patients.
In order to totally eradicate corona from the State, directives were issued by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to conduct Kill Corona campaign from July 01-15 across the State. Suspected patients are being identified in the door to door survey under the campaign, so that treatment could be given to them. State has positivity rate of 3.66 percent and recovery rate of 75.5 percent.
In view of increasing corona cases in Morena and Shivpuri district, special monitoring of these districts is being done at Government level.
The positivity rate of Morena is 9.59 percent and the mortality rate is 0.73 percent. Under the Kill Corona campaign, 73,739 houses, covering 5 lakh 61 thousand 352 population have been surveyed in Morena.
In Shivpuri district, the positivity rate is 2.05 percent and no death has been recorded in the district. The recovery rate of Shivpuri is 45.2 percent, which is less than the state average. All possible efforts are being made to increase the recovery rate.
