Depressed over frequent fights with husband, a 50-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her house at DRM Railway Colony under Baghsewania police station road on Friday.
Police said that the deceased, Sunita Pathak was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide while family members were at work. The deceased used to have frequent fights with her husband Jagdish Pathak and due to which she used to remain depressed.
During the investigation, police have not found any suicide note and it was found that the deceased used to have frequent fights with her husband over petty issue.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Sharma Nagar under Shahjehanabad police station area on Friday. According to the police, Pooja was found hanging at her house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide due to dispute with family members but during the investigation, police have not found any suicide note, which could help in revealing reason behind the suicide.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
