A five-year-old girl drowned after she accidentally fell into an septic tank at a under- construction house in Gondipura area under Kolar police station area on Wednesday; the tank was meant to construct septic tank.
According to SHO of Kolar Anil Bajpai the deceased was identified as Kismat Pal of Gondipura village in Kolar area.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening when Kismat's mother failed to find her and alerted the locals about her missing daughter after she was last seen playing near his house a few hours ago.
The locals and family started to search for the girl and later slippers were spotted outside the under-construction house in the same locality. Parents along with locals then went inside and noticed a septic tank and she was drowned inside the septic tank.
In the initial investigation police found that the girl accidentally and fell into the septic tank while playing inside the premises of the under-construction house.
The girl was rushed to JP hospital where she was declared dead. Police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPC and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 48-year-old man died after he fell from third floor of BDA building under Habibganj police station area on Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Vinod Shrivastava was a resident of Guna and came to Bhopal for treatment and was staying at his friend’s house.
Police found that the deceased was suffering from epilepsy and was undergoing treatment for the same. After the preliminary investigation police have started further investigation.
