Ratibad police have detained four youths including 3 minor boys who took turns to rape a 14-year-old girl at Sarwar village ; atrocity surfaced after victim got pregnant.
The abnormally enlarged stomach of the victim was diagnosed as pregnancy after family took victim for check up at clinic and where victim revealed the atrocity which she faced from December last year.In was revealed that the victim came into a contact with a youth involved in construction work of road last year in the month of October and one day when she was talking with the youth, one of the accused spotted her and asked her to develop relationship with him or else he would defame her in the village.
Afraid of defamation victim agreed and while accused was sexually assaulting her his friend arrived and taking advantage he threatened and raped her. The accused continued to exploit her by threatening her and later two more youths including Akash sexually assaulted her. The atrocity continued several times and at several places from October 2020 to December 2020 and surfaced after family found abnormal enlarged stomach. The police registered a case of gang rape and sections of POCSO Act.
After the four were detained except Akash three were found minors. The victim is a class 6 student and was not aware that the atrocity which was facing would lead to pregnancy.
