After the death of 4 youths and 3 still serious in the different hospitals, Indore SP West Mahesh Chandra Jain said the death of the four youths is caused by drinking royal stag brand foreign liquor which was spurious.
The youths consumed this spurious liquor at two different bars in Indore district later they fell ill, and four died one after another and three are still serious.
Police has issued warning that a big consignment of spurious royal stag liquor is in the market for sale at various illegal points, and made an appeal to people to not consume it .
People must purchase any type of liquor from the authorized shop and not from elsewhere, and if they have purchased the royal stag liquor from anywhere in Indore, please inform the police.
It is to be noted that Indore excise department is under big criticism from the Indore residents as the liquor mafia recently openly fired in Vijayanagar residential area for controlling the illegal shop bars which are being run in Indore district attached to the foreign liquor shops by the criminals without the legal permission of the excise department.
Indore people also raised question why illegal shop bars were overlooked by the ADEO’s and sub inspectors of Indore excise department. It is to be noted that the 180 liquor shops in Indore district is auctioned for around one thousand crores and the two groups have taken the permission to run these 180 shops.
At several foreign liquor shops the shop bar is off in record but the criminals are running shop bars illegally.
Indore people request the Government to form the SIT to check the deaths in Indore due to spurious liquor and former Indore officers like DIG of Indore Sanjeev Sami, Santosh Singh and former ADM Swati Meena should be given responsibility of SIT so they can crush the liquor mafia of Indore district.
