Depressed over family disputes, a 39-year-old man committed suicide at his residence in Rahul Nagar under Kamal Nagar police station on Friday. According to police, deceased Roop Singh was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police were informed and in the initial investigation it was found that deceased was alone at the time of the incident family members were at work and when they returned in the evening deceased was found hanging with the ceiling.
Family members told the police that the deceased was depressed over fights within the family for the past few months. Police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot and the circumstantial evidences suggest that the deceased was depressed over the frequent fights which led to disputes in the family and he took the extreme step frustrated over the disputes. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. Police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. Meanwhile a 28-year-old man was found dead near platform number 3 of the Bhopal railway station by GRP Bhopal in the morning on Sunday.
