A 38-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at Piplitalai under Kolar police station area on Friday. According to the police, Santa Sisodia was later rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.
Victim’s husband Mewaram Sisodia works as a daily wager with the Forest Department. The police is yet to find the reason as no suicide note was recovered. A case has been registered. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Mahamai Ka Bagh area under Aishbagh police station during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
According to the police the victim, Dulichand Khateek, was found hanging at his residence and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Prima facie, there seemed no reason behind the suicide but the locals and neighbours told that the victim was disturbed after her wife refused to return home from her parents’ house. He was dejected from his wife’s refusal.
