A 37-year-old truck driver was crushed by a truck parked by him at a stone crusher at Sarbar villager under Ratibad police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police the deceased Krishnapal Singh was crushed under the tyres of truck on Wednesday. The incident took place at RK Narwani crusher plant.
Police said that the deceased after parking the truck at stone crusher went to sleep in front of the road by keeping stones to block the movement of truck but as the truck was parked down the slope stone kept below tyres got removed and the truck mowed down the deceased.
The deceased was a resident of Jai Hind Nagar of Shahdol and used to live at the stone crusher. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 55-year-old was found dead near Hanuman temple in Arera Colony under Habibganj police station area on Thursday.
According to the police the deceased Parasnath Sondia was found dead at his relatives residence near Hanuman temple in the morning on Thursday.
The body was found after family members reported pungent smell and later when searched the body was spotted.
Brother-in-law of the deceased informed police and told the police that the deceased came to attend his daughter’s marriage and possibly fell in narrow space adjacent to the house in an inebriated state and died.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
