A case of molestation was registered by the Misrod police after a 37-year old married woman was molested in Misrod area on Saturday. The accused had molested and harassed the victim later by sending obscene photographs and videos.According to the police, a complaint of molestation and circulating obscene material was made by a 37 year-old woman with the Misrod police in which she claimed that from June 20 to June 27 the accused has sent obscene photographs and videos to her after which the victim informed the family and later a complaint was lodged with the Misrod police and after the preliminary investigation the police have registered under section 354 and section 67 of Information Technology Act 2000.
According to the police Devendra had gone to the victim’s place few days ago and molested her after finding that the victim was alone later he started to send pictures and videos to the victim.The victim was continuously harassed by the accused for the past few days. He used to send obscene picture and videos on whatsapp messenger and the frequency of the sending the obscene material was at the peak in the past 7 days.Police are not aware about the miscreant and have started searching for the miscreant who went missing after the complaint was made by the accused.The victim is a resident of Misrod area while the accused is resident of Minal residency. The police have started search for the miscreant. Till the filing of the report the accused remained absconding.
