A 35-year-old man died while another escaped with injuries after their motorbike was hit by a speeding truck at Sohaya-Ghagra trisection under Berasia police station area on Sunday. According to the police, two injured man who were severely injured after their motorbike was hit by a speeding truck were rushed to hospital where one of them was declared dead while one escaped with injuries. The deceased was identified as Phoolchand and met accident while on their way back after visiting Shamshabad.
The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation to search the errant truck driver who escaped with the truck. The truck driver escaped the spot leaving the truck bearing registration number MP04GA8961. The condition of escaped youth is critical and has been referred to Hamidia hospital late in the night. Police have also booked the errant driver for rash driving. The driver was in inebriated state or not is under investigation.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his house in Indra Sahayta Nagar locality under Gautam Nagar police station area. Police said that the deceased Ajmal Hasan committed suicide at his house. The deceased used to work as labourer. In the initial investigation the family members told police that deceased used to fight with the family members.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
