A 35-year-old man, who was injured after his bike was hit at Imalia Jod on Sunday, died during treatment at a private hospital on Monday. Another person accompanying him had passed away on the spot in the accident.
According to the police, laxman Yadav died while undergoing treatment at Suditi hospital in the afternoon on Monday.
He had sustained severe injuries after his motorbike was hit by a speeding truck while on his way to home along with Kaluram Yadav, who had died on the spot.
The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital where Kaluram Yadav was declared dead and laxman Yadav was referred to Suditi hospital where he died during treatment in the afternoon on Monday.
The incident took place at around 2.30 pm when the two were on their way to Khemkheda.
After the incident, the errant truck driver escaped the spot leaving the truck. later, the truck bearing registration number MP41-HA-0688 was seized by the police.
Based on the registration number of the truck, which belongs to Dewas, search for the truck driver and owner was on. They would be nabbed soon claimed the police.
Deceased were farmers and were residents of Khemkheda. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started search for the absconding accused.
The errant driver was on fault or the deceased were driving wrongly could not be ascertained at the moment and would be investigated. At the time of the incident, Kaluram was driving the motorbike and the impact of the accident proved fatal for him, told the police.
