The State Cabinet on Tuesday took several important decisions including creation of 337 posts of professor in Government colleges. The Cabinet also decided to extend upto Rs10 lakh loan to members of 14th Vidhan Sabha to construct or purchase house or residential plot. The MlAs will bear 4 per cent interest and remaining interest upto a maximum of 6.75 percent will be given as subsidy.
The Cabinet decided to create 8 different posts for operating district treasury in newly constituted Agar-Malwa district. One post each deputy district election officer, election supervisor, assistant grade-2 and grade-3 and peon for Agar-Malwa district was sanctioned. Sanction was also given for creation of new posts in Social Justice Department.
It was decided to create 51 posts of assistant grade-3 and 51 posts of data entry operator for the period between June 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 for State Election Commission’s district offices regarding works pertaining to general elections of urban bodies and 3-tier Panchayats.
Similarly, revised pay scale and allowances to officers of Medico-legal Institute, Bhopal at par with teaching cadre of medical colleges, was sanctioned and the cabinet also decided to continue 18 temporary posts of Directorate of Fiscal Management Information System under the Finance Department from March 1, 2014 to February 28, 2019.
It was decided that merged aged pensioners can get benefit of pension restoration under 6th pay scale. The pensioners whose 1/3rd part of pension has been restored can also avail benefit of 1/3rd restoration. As a result, 1/3rd part of pension of merged retired employees Government's corporations, undertakings, autonomous bodies, boards, etc. can be restored.
