Depressed over wife’s refusal to return home, a 33-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his house in Minal Residency under Ayodhya police station area on Monday.
Police said that the deceased Prabhakar Raikwar committed suicide at his house. The deceased used to work with an advertisement agency. In the initial investigation the family members told police that wife of deceased was living with her parents after having dispute with deceased.
On Monday Prabhakar had gone to bring his wife back but she refused to return and Prabhakar committed suicide after having dinner.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
Police have found a suicide note in which he claimed that he had taken extreme step on his own but no reason was mentioned.
The deceased married in the year 2015 and after marriage he used to have frequent fights with the wife due to which she returned to her parents and refused to return even after several visits of the deceased after which he used to remain depressed and committed suicide. The reason could not be ascertained and would be investigated in the further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at CRPF Bairagarh on Tuesday. The police said that the deceased Dipesh Wadhwani was rushed to hospital after he was found hanging.
During the investigation police found that the deceased committed suicide but reason remained unclear. Statement of family members are yet to be recorded which could help in revealing the reason.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the IPC and started further investigation.
