A 32-year-old man died after he fell while painting at a building at Neerja Nagar under Piplani police station area on Wednesday. A building painter was rushed to a nearby hospital after he fell from terrace while painting where he was declared brought dead. The deceased was identified as Kunjilal of Indrapuri.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The police have started further investigation.
The injured was rushed to Anantshree hospital where he was declared dead. In the initial investigation police found that the deceased was painting at the terrace and while painting he lost control and fell from the terrace. He sustained head injuries which caused his dead. Police said that if it is found that death was caused due to negligence a case would be registered.
