A man in the age group of 32-years died during treatment who went missing on Monday from Chunabhatti area; he was found bare in injured state at Kotra Sultanabad area and had injury marks over the body.
After the man identified as Ravikant Yadav went missing his family started to search for him on Tuesday morning but failed to find him and lodged a missing complaint with later Chunabhatti police. In the evening Kamla Nagar police was informed that a man of the same description was found in the area and has been taken to Hamidia hospital for treatment. He was found without clothes.
The family reached the hospital where Ravikant died during treatment.
After spotting the body family members claimed that Ravikant's eyes were swollen, neck was having marks like someone has strangulated him, injury marks on head, neck, back were visible.
The family revealed that on Sunday he was last seen with Vinod but he failed to returned on Monday after which search for Ravikant was started.
The deceased was killed but to ascertain a post mortem report has to be referred which is awaited.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. Vinod went missing after he found that Ravikant died during treatment.
