Around 3,000 police personnel who are going to be deployed during the State Assembly elections would cast their votes at the places of their deployment only through postal ballots.
Officer in charge of postal ballet Rajesh Shrivastava informed that after the model code of conduct was imposed the police personnel were instructed to remain fit and healthy while their senior officers have been told that from November 1, the voting process would be explained at the polling booths which would help in conducting voting on November 25.
Police personnel were trained regarding details of postal ballot, besides process of filling different forms.
