A 30-year old woman has alleged sexual exploitation at Kolar area by her colleague. A case of rape was registered with the women’s police station on Tuesday. According to the police, the victim lodged the complaint against Dheeraj Chourasia who sexually exploited her in the name of marriage for the past three years.
The accused Dheeraj Chourasia used to work with the accused in the same firm and developed relationship with the victim and sexually exploited her for the past three years.
During the investigation it was found that the accused and victim were in live-in relationship for few months but when the victim asked the accused to marry her he would escape with several excuses and later refused to marry her after which the victim lodged a complaint with the woman police station.
In her complaint the victim had claimed that she was threatened by the accused of her life. She was physically assaulted by the accused. On the receipt of the complaint a case was registered against the accused and started searching for the accused but failed to find him.
The police have registered a case under section 376 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Police have started searching for criminal record of the accused and have started to question his colleagues to gather information regarding involvement of same nature of crime by the accused in the past. Till the filing of the report the accused remained absconding and police have claimed that the accused would be nabbed soon.
