A 30-year-old man was mowed down by a speeding bus near IPS school under Misrod police station area late in the night on Monday.
Police said that a man was rushed to JP hospital after he was hit by a speeding bus and later he died during treatment. The deceased was identified as Meharban Singh of Baghsewania and used to run a tea stall.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 304 A of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Krishak Nagar under Nishatpura police station area in the evening on Monday.
Police said that the deceased Rambabu Meena was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased was class 12 student of while his brother studies in second year in Industrial Training Institute (ITI) who used to live with the deceased.
Police not found any suicide note but love letters were found which were not having any name. The letters suggest that the deceased was having a love affair and something went wrong but at the moment nothing could be ascertained and would be investigated.
The call record details would be investigated in the further investigation which could help in revealing the reason. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
