A 30-year-old widow was sexually exploited on the promise of marriage at Sanjay Nagar under Shahjehanabad police station area; a complaint was lodged by victim on Monday and accused was nabbed.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Anas Khan in the name of marrying her for the past six months and few days ago he refused and started to threaten her of life.Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started investigation.
The victim came into contact with the accused few months ago and later she became friend with the accused.In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim on December 6,2019 and later offered her to marry. He continued to sexually exploit and lured her of marriage.
After few months when she asked for marriage the accused used to escape with excuses. Later the accused refused to marry her and started to threaten her of life.
