A 30-year-old man died on Monday, while his friend escaped with moderate injuries, after his bike was hit by a speeding car near Kolua village under Bilkharia police station area.
Police said that two injured man were rushed to a hospital where one of the injured died during treatment and was identified as Hemant Shilpi while his friend identified as Uday Singh Jathav escaped with injuries.
In the evening on Monday Hemant was on his way to Bhopal with his friend Uday to and when they reached near Kolua village their bike was hit by a speeding Bolero jeep head on.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.
Police have seized vehicle which the errant driver left at the spot and escaped the spot. Search for the driver has been started.Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Shiv Nagar under Chola Mandir police station area on Monday.
The police said that the deceased Laxman Singh was found hanging with the ceiling and declared dead when rushed to a nearby hospital.
During the investigation police found that the deceased used to have frequent fights with his wife and in the evening he came heavily drunk and had fight afterwhich she went outside room while Laxman committed suicide inside the room.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
