Three portals pertaining to Panchayats and Rural Development Department including Panchayat Darpan, MNREGA portal and Samagra portal were demonstrated at Mansarovar auditorium of Vidhan Sabha. MlAs were given detailed information about these portals. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sitasaran Sharma, Deputy Speaker Rajendra Singh and Minister of State for School Education Deepak Joshi were also present on the occasion.
The Speaker lauded special features of various portals. He said that members will get updated information easily about programmes of community development and beneficiary-oriented schemes in Gram Panchayats through the portals. They will also get assistance in monitoring of development and public welfare programmes.
Earlier, ACS Aruna Sharma threw light on usefulness of departmental portals for effective implementation of rural development schemes. He urged Vidhan Sabha members to monitor ongoing schemes’ implementation in rural areas through the portals and give guidelines to concerning officers regarding more effective implementation from time to time. Secretary Panchayats and Rural Development Sanjeev Kumar Jha demonstrated functioning of Panchayat Darpan portal developed by Panchayat Raj Directorate to give information about works undertaken by Panchayats.
