Three persons including two minors were arrested after a street dog was killed by throwing him in pond after tying him; accused posted that the game is over after dog was killed.
In a bizarre incident irked over barking of a street dog when accused used to catch pigs, the miscreants have killed the dog by throwing it in the pond. Those who committed this act went viral on social media.
After this, the police arrested three accused, including two minors. After watching this video on social media on Sunday, members of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals emailed Ujjain SP Manoj Singh from Delhi.
As soon as the incident was known, the SP informed the cyber cell in gathering information.The Madhav Nagar police including Cyber Cell arrested three people, including Panchampura resident Sunny Boras and his cousins who are minor.
SI Tarun Kuril said that the accused have two minors. Sunny admitted in the interrogation that the street dog used to bother a lot while catching pigs.
Therefore, after catching him, he tied his feet and threw him alive in the university pond at Kothi Road. A case has been registered against the accused under Section-429 of IPC and Section 11 of the Animal Cruelty Act.
The accused also captured the street dog and tied his feet with a rope, also made a video of it.
After throwing the dog into the pond, large stones were also thrown at him in the water so that he could not get out. After Dog’s death, the accused also said that now its game is over and then posted the video on Facebook.
