Berasia police have arrested three miscreants on the charges of killing a 60-yearold man at Lalaria village Berasia police station area on Saturday.
Panic prevailed in the area after a man identified as Kadir Khan died after he was assaulted four miscreants who were his relatives. Kadir was attacked with a sharp edged weapon and later he died after been taken to a nearby hospital.
In the initial investigation police found that the deceased and his brother Shaukat are neighbours and houses are separated by a narrow lane. The narrow lane is reason of fight between them and on Saturday water coming out of their Shaukat’s house was reason behind the fight between the two families and women were engaged in heated exchange of words and hearing which Kadir came out and started fight and got engaged in verbal abuse and which angered Shaukat and his family.
Shaukat, his son Sharafat, Asad and their relative Habib scuffled with Kadir and grabbed around his neck and assaulted him and later pushed him after which he fell on ground and died of suffocation. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation.
Police have arrested three accused while search for the fourth accused has been intensified. Several places have been raided to nab the absconding accused in the investigation.
