Shivpuri police have nabbed three miscreants involved in dacoity at Congress leader’s house and recovered silver anklets from their possession; search for the remaining three dacoits have been intensified.
Police said that during the investigation it was found that the accused Manish Sharma alias Tinkel and lalit Rathod were spotted near the victim’s house on the day of the dacoity and information of the two was collected and it was found that after the day of the incident the two were missing. The two were nabbed and when the two were questioned they confessed dacoity along with accomplices Yadunath, Bunty, Manish Sharma (Gwalior) and Balle. later police nabbed Manish Sharma (Gwalior) but the remaining three are still at large.
SP Shivpuri Mohammad Yusuf Qureshi said that the police recovered a country made pistol and two cartridges from Tinkel and lalit. All the dacoits were of Gwalior and Morena.
Meanwhile, with an objective to spread awareness and making girls fearless among the girls movies would be screened for girls across cinema halls in Shivpuri, said SP Shivpuri Mohammad Yusuf Qureshi.
Using movies like Akira, Mardani, Shivaay, Talash awareness about self –defense and fighting criminals would be increased helping the police in their efforts to provide safe and secure atmosphere for girls and women.
The girls move out for college, school, coaching centers and job and several times they return late in the evening exposing them to eve teasing and other evils of the society and this effort would help the girls and women.
