Three people were nabbed by Nishaptura police for killing a 22-year-old youth who had opposed them for passing lewd remarks on his mother at Brij Colony late on Thursday night.
According to the police, the deceased Rahul Rao was attacked by Shiva Rajput, Kalo and Kuldeep by sharp-edged weapons; the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. During the investigation, police found that the deceased's mother Sunita Roa used to sing outside the house and the main accused Shiva Rajput used to pass comment on her singing which was not liked by Rahul.
On Thursday night while Sunita was singing Shiva passed comment on which Rahul objected and told him to stop teasing but instead of stopping the act Shiva continued. Then Rahul went to Shiva and they had a heated exchange of words which soon turned physical. Rahul was attacked with sharp edged weapon attacked him in his neck and chest.The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and have started further investigation. It was found that around two days ago Shiva and Rahul had a fight which was pacified after Rahul's father intervened and told Shiva to restrain from disturbing his wife. The deceased used to work as auto rickshaw driver.
In the fight the main accused Shiva hs also sustained injuries but the injuries are minor. The injuries sustained by Rahul proved fatal who was attacked by sharp edged weapon.
