With three more persons testing positive total number of patients has reached 106 on Sunday in the district, number of deaths remained at 17 while four recovered from the infection.
Till Sunday 106 patients have been found in the district. Of these, three positive patients of Nagda were found in Ratlam. A large number of people were screened on Saturday after five patients met at Badnagar in the district. Collector Shashank Mishra and SP Sachin Atulkar have visited the area and reviewed the situation.
The number of new samples is 98 and along with this more than 500 test reports are yet to be received. The district received only one positive case of corona infection on Saturday. Infection was confirmed in a 55-year-old resident of the Containment Area artillery.
In the last five days 75 patients’ reports were positive for Coronavirus infection. After this, there was some relief on Saturday. However, there are 500 reports which are yet to be received.
On Saturday 98 new samples were also taken. The figures gradually increased after the death of a 65-year-old woman resident of Jansapura. From April 21 to 25 , the graph went above 100 after 75 new patients were found.
As the number of patients surged the staff and management at RD Gardi Hospital failed to handle and faced great difficult. After which the administration is planning to shift patients to some other places besides RD Gardi.
CMHO Anusuia Gawli said that soon some more patients will be discharged from the hospital after the investigation report. However, some reports are yet to come. Discharge of patients’ will be decided only after negative report is received.
