Three miscreants attacked a hotel owner at Chandbad locality under Bajaria police station area late in the night on Tuesday and escaped with Rs 18000 from his possession.
The victim Mohammad Raziq (24) was attacked by three miscreants after he refused to hand over money to them. Police said that the victim claimed that Salman Khan, Azam and Karan Thakur have attacked and robbed him and escaped with the cash.
Karan Thakur is a watch list criminal under Bajaria police station and the two other accused have past criminal record. The three escaped with the cash and are still at large.
Soon after the attack police personnel and patrolling police parties were alerted but still the miscreants managed to escape and remain absconding. The victim owns Rajdhani hotel in Bajaria and was carrying cash collection from the daily sales on Tuesday.
Initially the accused tried to snatch money from the victims but he managed to escape and later chased and attacked with a sharp edged weapon.
The incident occurred at around 1 AM on Tuesday when the victim was on his way to drop his brother-in-law at his house in Chandbad. On his way they were stopped by the miscreants and tried to snatch money from the victim. The victim tried to rescue but was chased and attacked with sharp edged weapon injuring the victim in his shoulder.
In the attack victim sustained serious injuries in his left hand and shoulder and is undergoing treatment at the Narmada Hospital.
