Three labourers died after falling into a tank in Hettich India Furniture Company in sector 3, Pithampur area in the district on Wednesday, the police said.
According to the police, Hettich India Furniture is engaged in manufacturing furniture. The accident took place Tuesday afternoon when the three laborers fell into the water treatment plant of the factory of capacity 10000 liters.
The deceased laborers were taken to the Choithram hospital Indore where the hospital declared them brought dead.
The deceased have been identified as Sailendra, son of Umed Singh Dhakad age 25 years resident of Vijaypur Sheopur, Arivind son of Amrit Lal Patel age 30 years resident of Jonpur U P and Anil son of Shiv Singh Jamare age 23 years resident of village Bhami Badwani.
Dhar collector Alok Kumar Singh told The Pioneer that It is very sad to learn about the demise of the three laborers and we are waiting for the family members of all the three deceased.
A team will be sent to the company to examine the safety standards for the employees in the company. Police is investigating the matter and will register the case against the defaulters.
